Hey, I'm Emma 👋
Hey, I'm Emma. I left my job as a full time English teacher to build my own online company writinglab.io (IELTS education platform) - I am not going to lie, I have found it really hard. The only thing that has kept me going is meeting and chatting with other women who are going through a similar experience. She Builds is an effort to put this feeling into an online community to help others.

‘’She Builds has been so useful to me. I needed a community where other women were in a similar position to myself, where I didn’t feel so isolated in my journey. I’ve met great people and really love the feature where you can live test your products within the community''.

‘’I’m proud to be part of such an awesome community for women. I love meeting other women who have started their own thing, and learning from each other in how best we can do this- regardless of how different our niches are. I am gaining so much in terms of relationships and networking. Thank you She Builds!''

''As someone who started in an industry that I previously didn’t know, I completely understand how it feels to start anew. She Builds has been a really motivating space to be in and even though I am part of a company, I still want to stick around. I am learning so much and it's making a difference to how I approach my own work.''
